Introduction

Hello! My name is Diego and I go by DXD Tech online, though most people just call me Tech, DXD or DX. I'm a 22-year-old guy from Spain who considers himself a mixture of a gamer and a nerd. You can say I'm "weird", too. At this point, I've almost accepted it.

I'm currently working on finishing my final degree project (TFG in Spanish) to complete the study plan for my bachelor's in Software Engineering. I have work experience as an intern in two different companies and my most recent internship lasted 6 months. I would love to showcase some of my software projects on this website, but that will have to be in the future, since most of the projects I've worked on were academic or professional.

This site is hosted by my friend Ian, who I met in a (now inactive) semiprivate Discord server named The Lemon Grenade Factory. Cheers, mate!

Devices

The desktop computer that I spend way too much time on is a custom build I made between December 2020 and March 2021 (except for the GPU, which I couldn't get my hands on until April 2022).

Specs:

In the future, it might get more hard drives. The 500 GB SSD and the 2 TB HDD are almost full. I'd also like to upgrade the CPU soon. I've always regretted not getting a better one. This computer survived a power surge in January 2025. This is why having a trustworthy PSU is important, fellas. It may have been the only component that took irreparable damage, but without proper protections on it, it could've destroyed other parts of my computer.

As for laptops, the one I use for university, travel, work (at my second internship) and as a backup machine is a Gigabyte G5 GD, with an Intel Core i5-11400H @ 2.7 GHz (turbo up to 4.5), 16 GB of DDR4 RAM, a mobile Geforce RTX 3050 and a 500 GB NVMe SSD. Another remarkable thing about my laptop is the absolutely TERRIBLE battery life. It lasts about 2 hours if I'm lucky less than 2 hours now. Keep this in mind when looking for a gaming laptop if it's not going to be plugged in most of the time.

A proper device list is in the works!
